Electricity, water, telephones

Dear all,

I have just been replying to an owner's questions relating to making live service connections so thought it wise to let everyone see what I have told him:

Gaining your own Water and Electricity connections with personal meters - In a letter which was sent out from Bramhall last Friday authorisation forms were included for each owner to fill out and fax to me (0034 922 737174) so that I can contract electricity and water services on your hehalf as soon as I have a copy of your deeds following completion.         Telephone - All you need to do is call telefonica when you are over here and request your line as all the lines are in place through to each apartment but awaiting final connection from telefonica network to ours upon your request and payment.     Town Hall Rates and rubbish collection - We have passed info relating to each owner to the Town Hall rates department so when they have asimilated this information you will get a rates bill, rather than us (Taurus). I guess basura will be the same, but I will ask next time I am at the Town Hall and update the blog accordingly.          Property and Insurance Contents - You will need to arrange yourself for your property and contents. The common areas will be covered in Community fees and Taurus have already contracted 10 years of building defect insurance should my supervision of the construction process or the original structural design have been lacking.

Hope this helps to answer some of the questions you may have in your mind.
