January 2006 update
Happy New Year. I hope you all had a good Christmas.
To update you since my last update on 23rd December 2005:
- Manolo has been making all necessary visits to site to check steelwork and answer any queries whilst I have been away.
- Progress on structures:
Block A

(4F) is now 100% complete with the third floor slab complete to both halves.
Block B (4J) is also now 100% complete with the third floor slab complete to both halves.
Block C (4G) is now approximately 60% complete, with the second floor slab cast, the retaining wall completed up to the lift shaft and half the columns resting on the foundations cast.
Block D (4K) is now 70% complete, with the first half of the block complete and the street level floor slab cast in the second half.
- Blockwork walls to divide apartment from apartment and also define individual rooms is still progressing well with approximately 40% of Block A complete, 40% of Block B and 30% of Block D complete. Lintels over doorways and timber door linings have been fitted to apartment walls to the first half of Block A (4F)

- Various flights of stairs cast to Block B (4J)
- The blockwork to divide up Chris Neary's apartment has now been built up as per the original plans and not to his proposal. I don't know whether or not this will give you any problems? Please let me know if we can continue to proceed with the original plan.
Attached photos show Block D (1437) and Block A (1425).
