March Progress Report
Dear all,
March has seen a lot of progress on El Barranco Resort with over 100 workers on site each day.
1. External painting of Blocks A and B has commenced and all apartments in these two blocks now have either two or three coats of paint.
- The timber pergola structures above each terrace have been put in place to all 4 main blocks as well as to the 7 link villas. Further intermediate horizontal timbers will be put in place once the tower cranes have finished placing materials on individual terraces.
- To roadside elevations the timber walkway structures complete with overhead pergolas have been completed to all four main blocks. The decking boards are progressively being fixed in place.
- All floor tiling to the four main blocks and each apartment terrace has been completed.
- Internal decoration is progressing well.
- Washbasins, bidets and toilets have been placed and plumbed in in all four main blocks.
- Kitchen units (flat pack) have been placed in Block A and B apartments and are in the process of being assembled.
- Wardrobes have been placed in apartments of Block B and are presently being assembled and put into position.
- Internal doors are presently being fitted within Blocks A and B.
- All roofs have now been completed with the final tiles being fixed on the link villas this month.

Since the good progress was made with Swimming Pool 1 last month work on Pools 3, 4, 5 and 6 has been even faster. Pool 3 (children’s) is complete apart from tiling. Pools 4, 5 and 6 have been excavated. The walls and base of Pool 6 have been sprayed with concrete and Pools 4 and 5 are presently being prepared for spraying of concrete.
