Works progress update - 24 November 2006
Dear all,
Since my last update progress on site has been made on the following items:
- Passageways and the terraces have been screeded to Block B, with a waterproofing latex compound being spread over approximately half of these ready to accept terrace tiles.
- Terrace tiling has been commenced to penthouse B302 today
- External rendering has continued to all blocks
- The first floor level timber walkway structure which will support the timber boardwalk has been fixed in place to Block B together with the timber pergola structure above.
- The first lift is now in place to the end of Block B nearest to The Bridge and work has commenced on installation of the second lift within the same block.
- Plastering of walls and ceilings to the Villas and apartments within Block C has continued
- Further windows have been put in place to Block , whilst all are in place in Block B.
The photographs below show a view of Block B taken from the road, Block A and Block B again with the lift doors evident within the shaft, the timber joists at first floor level which will support the timber boarded walkway and the timber pergola structure above.
