Amarilla Golf Club
Amarilla Golf course is a par 72, 6077 metre expansive course with spectacular ocean backdrops and views to the mountains of the North. It was first designed by Donald Steel who has since been commissioned to remodel the famous Jubilee course at St Andrews, his layout makes challenging use of the natural contours, including a daunting tee shot over a rocky inlet at the short 5th, which can call for anything from a wedge to a six iron. Experienced green keepers are responsible for keeping the course in the prime playing condition it has now reached. Their efforts are fully supported by the members of the club and the professionals who gladly welcome you into | |
their twice-weekly competitions. Finally what better way to relax after a hard round than the impressive club house where you can socialise in luxurious surroundings, the terrace offers a swimming pool and spa with wonderful sea views. If you are dining out the Ala Carte restaurant is superb. The clubhouse is open to members and non-members alike. At present there are numerous other courses on Tenerife. It really is a golfer’s paradise.
